Jennifer, a New York native, has been in the staffing industry for more than ten years and has experience in sales, recruiting and management. Currently, Jennifer is responsible for planning and strategy development as Director of Recruitment. In her recruiting, she uses a consultative approach and strives to make the perfect matches for her candidates and clients by understanding their individual needs and aligning them to benefit both. Jennifer utilizes her Masters in Management to understand the needs of executive level hiring managers, as well as her degree in Spanish to recruit and place bilingual Spanish-speaking professionals.

Jennifer has experience in both temporary staffing and direct hire search, has undergone industry specific training, including obtaining the designation Certified Staffing Professional, and has been recognized as Top Producer, Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year. You will also see Jennifer quoted in Judith K. Ivie's 2006 book, Calling It Quits, Turning Career Setbacks to Success. Prior to joining Lauren Staffing, Jennifer worked in California in the creative staffing industry servicing companies like The Gap and Wells Fargo Bank. Jennifer is currently spearheading our newest division: Creative. Lauren Creative will encompass temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire search in graphic design, print production, advertising, communications, interactive marketing and design.

Career Highlights

Connecticut Children's Medical Center, located in Hartford, CT, is dedicated to improving the physical and emotional health of children through family-centered care, research, education and advocacy. Over the years, Jennifer has built a partnership with human resources and department heads based on reliability, response time and an understanding of the best fit for the hospital's culture. She has made over 175 placements at CCMC including Medical Billers, Administrative Assistants, Admitters (including bilingual candidates), Registration & Referral Specialists and Surgical Coordinators.

State Education Resource Center (SERC) of Middletown, CT, in operation since 1969 through funding primarily from the Connecticut State Department of Education, is known for providing professional development to educators, service providers, families and community members. Jennifer recognizes SERC's hiring initiative, which encourages the application of candidates who reflect the diversity of the agency's staff and have a demonstrated commitment to working with multi-cultural, multi-racial learning community. With this in mind, she has successfully placed numerous support staff in Education Service Specialist and Conference Team Assistant roles.

Advanced Behavioral Health Inc. in Middletown, CT, is a non-profit behavioral health management company that specializes in utilization management, provider network administration, research and dissemination of best practices and health information technology. Jennifer has built the trust and overall relationship with the human resources department at ABH to the point of placing over thirty associates without client interviews into positions such as Human Resources Generalist, Payroll and Benefits Specialist, Research Associate and Bilingual Spanish-speaking Customer Service Representative.

Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, Rocky Hill, CT, is a leader in housing finance. Over the years, Jennifer has helped CHFA identify numerous qualified Mortgage Professionals, Executive Administrative Assistants, and most recently, Customer Service Representatives for their new call center. Early Summer 2008, Jennifer was asked to present the most qualified customer service talent to help build CHFA's new call center, which would support Governor Rell's 2008 mortgage assistance programs (HERO and EMAP) run by CHFA.
